Similar to the last little app that we were giving away, this is a little scripting app that relaunches your Finder app. We often found that it's a pain to go to the Force Quit menu to relaunch Finder, so this way you can have the little app sitting on your Dock!
Feel free to down load it as much as your like.

We often found that we needed to clear our DNS cache - so one one our developers (Daniel Upton) came up with the great idea of writing this simple, yet effective little scripting app that sits happily in your Dock and clears your DNS cache for you when you click it.
Feel free to download it as much as you want. Hope it helps!

We recently had a problem on some of our Mac computers where the ownership of some folder structures was causing problems. It was predominately with folders that were associated with an automated sync app that we use. We couldn’t edit or modify any of the content within the folder structure without inputting our admin password.
After some trial & error and research, we found that this seems to solve the problem:
Firstly, you need to click “Get Info” and navigate to the “Sharing & Permissions” tab of the folder structure in question.

Next you need to check that you have permission to Read & Write.

If you don’t have permission to Read & Write, you will need to unlock by clicking on the little lock icon shown below. This will require you to input your password and you will be able to change the settings.

Once you have given yourself permission to Read & Write, drop down on the little box shown below and click on “Apply to enclosed items...”.

This should reset your permission to edit any content within that folder structure.
